Boom was a logo creation project for my brand identity class. Boom is a senior housing community that boldly calls for LGTBQ+ and allies. They aim to be a trendsetters with core values of inclusivity, pride, and community.
My task was to design a logo that speaks to the strength of this demographic as well as to depict all their values. My designs utilize a bold typeface with the proximity of characters to symbolize community. My color palette include strong saturated purple, a soft lavender to symbolize empowerment, (the color that represented the queer rights movement in the 1960s), and muted blue to speaks to the reserved but resilience of this community.
